DIRECT CARE WORKERS|COMPANIONS|CNAS for One-To-One Cases!

ATC Healthcare New York is currently hiring Direct Support and Direct Care Workers for per diem assignments within the Hudson Valley region to include the following areas:
Rockland County - Nyack and Suffern NY
Westchester County - White Plains, Valhalla, Cortlandt, Mt. Kisco, Yonkers, Dobbs Ferry and Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown NY.
Orange County: Middletown, Newburgh, Warwick and Port Jervis New York.

These are hospital-based 1:1 assignments delivering direct patient care; 8 and 12 hour shifts available! As a Direct Support/Direct Care Worker, you will provide the following patient care:
Role & Responsibilities
_-Assist in the performance of ADLs;
-Assist patient with ambulating/walking;
-Assist with hygiene - bathing or showering;
-Assist with toileting needs;
-Assist with dressing/changing clothing;
-Assist changing bedding;
-Assist with repositioning individuals in bed or chair;
-Assist with feeding - food and/or fluid intake;
-Provide social interaction, attention, companionship, and engagement. Encourage participation in meaningful activities;
-Along with hospital staff, escort the individual to inpatient hospital treatments and testing_
Minimum Requirements
-_Direct patient/individual care experience;
-High school diploma or equivalent;
-A physical/medical exam within the last 12 months;
-Screening for Tuberculosis (TB) testing and/or vaccination
-Documentation of Covid Vaccination;
-Screening/background clearance with the Justice Center;_

• Orange County, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
