Opportunity

The Dining Room Supervisor at the Wisconsin Room provides support to the restaurant management team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks and additional oversight of front of the house restaurant staff. Manage guest requests, complaints and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership.

Specific Responsibilities

• Assist management with daily administrative tasks.
• Process new hire and employee change paperwork.
• Greet guests and present them with the menu, informing them about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
• Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell.
• Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table (must be 18 or over and licensed).Assist with overseeing the dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations.
• Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/hostess as needed.

This is a full-time opportunity working weekdays and weekends.

Skills/Requirements

• Safe Serve certified or ability to obtain certification.3+ years experience in restaurant preferred.
• Supervisory restaurant experience required.
• Bartending knowledge is a plus.
