Job Title: Digital Skills Specialist - Denton
Locations: Goodwill North Central Texas - 2030 W University Dr, Denton, Texas 76201
Salary: Based on Experience
Work Hours: Full Time, Exempt. Typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am start time

General Job Duties: Work with clients to identify digital training needs, develop with best practices in mind, and implement self-paced digital trainings in the areas of e-mail, basic digital literacy, and PowerPoint. Provide training to a minimum of 25 clients per month. Maintain formal training records for each client and report completion rates and monitor customer use of lab facilities/equipment.
Assist clients with software- and hardware-related problems. Work one-on-one with clients with any questions about the equipment, etc. Maintain Digital Lab in a clean and organized condition. Notify proper functional areas (i.e. Maintenance, IT) if issues need to be addressed.
Must maintain knowledge of current developments, best practices, technologies, labor market information and adult learning
techniques to insure that training materials are up-to-date.
Safeguard company property (including donated goods) and employees. Report any incident of accident, theft, fraud, waste or
unauthorized possession of company property to your manager immediately or to the Prevention of Fraud Hotline – 1-800-252-3642. Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, program, and/or mission.
Skills and Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint), Word, Email, Excel. Must possess excellent customer service, writing skills, self-motivated, and be able to work with individuals who possess disabilities, disadvantages and other barriers. Self-motivated, excellent customer service background. Knowledge of social service organizations a plus.
Physical Requirements: Inside office primarily, but must have reliable transportation for off-site training initiatives, etc.
Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, valid state-issued driver’s license, criminal background check, and drug screen.
