Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an Outpatient Dietitian position at Bridgeport Hospital located in Bridgeport, CT. This 400-bed Level 2 Trauma Center and teaching hospital is part of the Yale New Haven Health System. Bridgeport Hospital also has Connecticut's only Burn center. No weekends!

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:
- provide general outpatient care for adult patients;
- maintain a strong working knowledge of general nutrition, including diabetes and weight management;
- participate in community events and health fairs; and
- work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight.

Position Summary:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
Credentials Requirement:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
- Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
