Privately owned General Dental practice in Allison Park, PA seeking an experienced and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. Candidate will assist practitioner chair-side supporting them in clinical care of the patient while delivering a professional and friendly experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, interpersonal and chair-side assisting skills. We are looking for an assistant who is well-spoken and quick on their feet, who can work well under pressure and with team members. The right candidate will have a commitment to patient care and a passion for providing an exceptional experience for patients. Other responsibilities will include managing patients' dental records, tracking lab cases, supply inventory and scheduling routine appointments for patients.

Our office utilizes fully digital radiographs (Nomad and wall-mounted) and brand new intraoral scanner. We offer restorative, crown/bridge, implant services, clear aligner therapy, perio, endo and extractions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide chair-side assistance for provider during dental procedures.
• Chart and take x-rays. Review dental records with patients, providing instruction and postoperative procedures and instructions.
• Eaglesoft practice management software
• Organize and maintain lab cases.
• Prepare and equip operatory and equipment prior to each patient
• Ensure all OSHA policies and procedures are followed.
• Basic Qualification: X-ray Certification
• Dental assisting experience and x-ray certification a plus, but willing to train the right candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
