This role assists the delivery driver in the safe loading and unloading of furniture and providing excellent customer service on delivery.
Responsibilities Overview – Delivery Helper
● Assist driver with safe operation of delivery truck.
● Safely and efficiently load furniture on company trucks for customer delivery.
● Safely and efficiently unload furniture and place in customers’ home.
● Ensure excellent customer service on delivery
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting delivery manifest requirements.
● Available and qualified to assume duties of driver when needed.
Requirements – Delivery Helper
● Possess current driver’s license and qualified DMV report.
● Maintain qualifications for DOT driver file.
● In general, Tuesday through Saturday schedule but can be changed by business needs.
● Ability to perform physical activities including standing for multiple hours and the ability to carry and lift weights of up to 150 lbs. with assistance
● High school diploma or equivalent required
● Attention to detail
● Oral and written communications skills are required
