We are currently seeking a dynamic and service minded individual to join our fast paced, growing and exciting team as a Driver from our New Milford, CT location.

Job Description

Operate trucks to pick up and deliver products, supplies and equipment to and from organization, supplier and job sites while adhering to all DOT regulations and safety procedures. CDL REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up building material throughout the Metro NY & Tri-State Area area
• Pick up and load stock accurately and safely per DOT requirements
• Complete Pre and Post trip safety inspections
• Keep trucks clean inside and out, and check inspections and registrations for compliance
• Report vehicle accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route and fuel trucks as needed
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking all incoming material.

Work Environment

• Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, noticeable in any warehouse environment.
• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy (50+ pounds).

Driver Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License
• Valid CDL
• Experience with 18 gear trucks
• Ability to obtain a medical card
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Knowledge of construction material and/or building supplies and the proper handling of these supplies preferred but not required
• Experience with a forklift, electric pallet and/or lull preferred
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and Background Check

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
