DELTA LOGISTICS, INC.- Hiring Delivery Drivers at FedEx Ground!!

Delta Logistics, Inc. is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground in Memphis TN, actively hiring full-time delivery drivers to service our routes located in the Memphis TN area. To qualify, drivers must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial, delivery, or employment related driving experience. (ie: 1 in the last 3 years, 3 years in the last 5 years, or 5 in the last 10 years) A CDL license is NOT required and PAID training is available!

NOTE: examples of employment related driving experience can include.....Food delivery services, Uber, Lyft, shuttle services, towing, transportation services, trash pickup, cable installation, etc. If you are unsure, just ask the recruiter.

TO QUALIFY A CANDIDATE MUST:

* Be 21 years of age or older.

* Have a valid driver license & a driving record in good standing with the DMV.

* Pass a pre-employment criminal background screening.

* Pass a pre-employment Drug Screen (and subject to randoms in the future).

* Pass a DOT physical & obtain a Medical Card. (If operating a vehicle over 10k)

* Obtain an F Endorsement within 90 days of employment (TN License holders), or a Class D within 90 days of employment (Mississippi License holders).

* Have a least 1 year of verifiable driving experience with a previous employer, or 3 years within the last 5 years, or 5 within the last 10 years.

WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:

* You will be paid weekly via Direct Deposit (every Friday).

* You will receive paid training @ $100/day.

* Your pay is based on productivity. (Minimum of $145/day, earning potential of $160+/daily)

* Trucks, uniforms, dollies, scanners, and all navigational tools are provided.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

* Candidate must report to work on time and be dependable. (7:30am start time)

* Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced and sometimes physically demanding environment.

* Candidate must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds onto and from the delivery truck. Packages weighing up to 150 pounds with the assistance of a dolly.

* Candidate must be able to safely navigate to and from designated locations.

* Candidate must make all deliveries and pick-ups in a safe and timely manner.

* Candidate must report Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections on the delivery vehicle daily.

* Candidate must always ensure and provide quality customer service at all times.'
