BASIC PURPOSE: The OTT Associate will work within a structured framework to ensure database records meet or exceed the company's information requirements per the CAN initiative or other requirements as given. The Associate must have a strong technical ability to learn and use software applications. The

Associate must have competent internet research and analytical skills, which include efficient organization and clear communication to other personnel and departments. The Associate must also demonstrate adaptability as impromptu tasks and changes in workflow prioritization arise. Excellent writing and grammar skills are highly valued.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain company-defined standards of completeness for program records.
  • Create and enter program descriptions as assigned.
  • Proofread other team members' descriptions.
  • Create and enter required database program information as assigned.
  • Review other team members' records for accuracy.
  • Check program metadata and updates for all assigned sources via a central e-mail system.
  • Communicate with contacts and research approved outside sources for information gathering.
  • Maintain communication with distributors as required.
  • Respond to and act upon scheduled and impromptu reports.
  • Meet and maintain minimum monthly production requirements as measured by varied individual productivity metrics.
  • Use new and existing contacts to acquire and/or validate information before entry into the database.
  • Provide daily summary reports that communicate the Associate's issues, ongoing trends, setbacks, and/or successes to the Content Development Production Manager and Content

Development Operations Manager.

  • Provide ongoing feedback to supervisory staff and peers on current assignments, including questions regarding output, ongoing corporate knowledge, or improving efficiency.
  • Work with the supervisory staff and other department personnel to ensure database standards and needs are met, which could require immediate attention to cases where standards are not met and require resolution.
  • Ensure ongoing Contributor, External, and Category completion and accuracy for in-production programming on assigned stations, with specific focus on episode-level completion for CARM-1 and -3 requirements.
  • Use custom reports and Excel-based tracking to maintain ongoing awareness of program coverage progress for both Log and Group sources.
  • Perform title creation and/or field completion tasks required CARM-levels as needed and assigned for OTT or streaming-exclusive content.
  • Operate in specialized areas of RBM’s Software and Products, including newly developed fields or data points as required to meet company/department goals and client needs.
  • Understand that the Associate will have other duties as required and/or assigned, which may or may not be encompassed specifically in their ongoing workflows and responsibilities.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:

  • Demonstrate a technical foundation in programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel – as well as the database software.
  • Maintain priorities regarding one's daily planning, time concerns and organizational skills.
  • Work effectively as an independent and in a team environment on projects or issues.
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively to internal and external parties, whether electronically or in-person.
  • Be organized and motivated to excel.
  • Type 40 words per minute.

  • $12.00 per hour, approximately 20 hours per week.
