Job Summary:
The Data Architect is a new role for Heinens, responsible for supporting our organization through delivery of scalable, flexible, cloud-based, and cost-effective solutions to support our enterprise data and business intelligence needs. This role will critically inform, and design change efforts related to our information solutions, beginning with a data warehouse redesign. The ideal candidate will be able to translate our organizational business needs and unique challenges to present ideal solutions for long-term success.
Responsibilities:
Leads solution architecture rebuild effort and ongoing optimization design for data warehouse.- Supports organizational change management efforts related to data initiatives, including rollout of data governance program, and supporting processes.
- Provides technical project leadership from architecture to delivery of solution for data-rich implementations.
- Partners with others in evaluating new applications they may use to access data in their respective areas.
- Documents architecture solutions for multiple audiences.
- Defines and documents best practices for many data process, including ETL processes, data storage, and data cleansing, to support integration, data sharing, analysis, and business intelligence solutions.
- Partners in development of roadmap for data initiatives.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and/or optimization across greater organization to streamline workflow and create efficiencies.
- Leads requirements review process to understand business functionality impacts to methodological changes to business processes.
- Partners with development team and technical services team to support change implementation.

Qualifications:
7 years of experience architecting enterprise data solutions, including implementation of new solutions or rebuild/overhaul of current solutions.- Experience architecting cloud data solutions across multiple technologies, including Azure and Snowflake.
- Strong ability to work with different databases and platforms.
- Experience working with many different types of data, including Financial, Marketing, PII, PCI, and PHI.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate database structures used to support different data.
- Able to work independently, and work as part of a team to implement a goal.
- Able to succinctly communicate complex principles, ideas, analyses, and solutions to team members across all levels of the organization.
- Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Able to work collaboratively with various functional areas to understand their needs and assist in developing solutions for data access.
