I’m an Associate Recruiter with Paramount Staffing here in Atlanta. We have a long-time client, an established, stable, and successful multi-line insurance corporation, that is looking to add to their team a Customer Support Rep II. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary range between $35,548 $44,421 for more highly qualified candidates.

This position is ON SITE in Springfield, MO and requires at least 2 years of call center/customer service experience, positive phone disposition, strong cognitive and multi-task skills, the ability to learn and retain information quickly, high attention to detail and follow up, and aptitude to navigate various computer programs simultaneously. Prior insurance experience is a bonus, but not required.

What will you do

• Support immediate requests of all incoming phone calls by accepting payments, confirming basic policy information, and managing account and/or policy detail changes; Striving to meet first call resolution
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to authorized parties-Including policy information, interpretation, coverages, products (Validating caller identification and authority)
• Receive incoming applications from clients or field associates, completing process
• Notify underwriting department of changes to risk
• Review and post premium payments
• Become an expert in programs utilized to disseminate policy status, policy data, and inquiries
• Review, create, and modify payment plans-Including the set-up of auto-draft from clients’ bank accounts, billing premiums to the insured or mortgagee (May also review premium payment application and issue refunds)
• Identify funds needed for lapsed payment policies for reinstatement (Guarantee appropriate approvals are obtained, forms are signed, required paperwork is completed/received, and process payments according to guidelines)
