Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Customer Service area (minimum of 2 years); experience working in a global organization; and working experience in Oracle ERP system.
Summary:
Your role will be to support the sale of our globally manufactured products to our USA customer base. To ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and delivery commitments are met. From the preparation and processing of sales orders; to liaising with internal departments to provide technical support, this role is key to our continued business success.

You will have superior computer skills, particularly in MS Office, data visualization tools and computer based ERP systems (ideally Oracle).
Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting, training, and supervising members of the inside sales team

Regularly evaluating the performance of the inside sales team to be sure work is prioritized and processed according to company guidelines and customer requirements

Evaluating current sales practices and procedures to determine effectiveness

Prepare and manage Quotes, Sales Orders, Invoices, and other customer facing documents throughout their life cycle

Support Customers located in the USA (ex: product availability and price; invoices, shipment date, claims, etc.)

Work closely with the Sales Manager located in Salt Lake City, UT

Manage key operational reports and ascertain compliance with established key performance indicators

Support Credit/Finance organization of the resolution of Sales Order credit/financial hold issues

Maintain customers and sales records up-to-date in compliance with BLY record retention policy

Process and manage Claims and Return of Material Authorization (RMA)

Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and very detail-oriented

Strong leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving skills

Good knowledge of MS Office suite of tools with emphasis on MS Excel®

Experience with ERP systems and concepts

Experience with Order tracking or ticketing systems, applications, and sales

Ability to multitask in a complex cross functional environment and see transactions through to completion.

Experience in interpreting/understanding technical catalogs

Oracle operating system experience is preferred

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s in Business / sales or related field

Technical background is an advantage

Experience in the Customer Service, quote processes, order processing, contact with customer is a must.

Experience/knowledge in Supply Chain activities, desirable

A minimum of 3 years working experience in an customer service, commercial, supply chain environment

Knowledge of and operational experience in distribution and warehousing

Experience or understanding of inventory management and procurement processes

General knowledge of customs procedures and INCO terms

Experience in the mining industry is preferable but not required

Knowledge of Boart Longyear’s products is an advantage
