Job Summary

GREAT PAY & GREAT OPPORTUNITY! White House Gifts, a retail store located across the street from the White House, is looking for a part-time motivated janitor to join our great team. Hours are 7:00 a.m. until approximately 11:00 a.m./Noon on Monday and Friday mornings.

Responsibilities and Duties

Janitor Requirements:

• Report to work 2 - 3 days per week starting at 7:00 a.m. The shift will end when the work is completed which is estimated to be 3-4 hours.
• Must have previous janitorial experience
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
• Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment
• Experience cleaning windows inside and out on a regular basis
• Other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned

Maintain store locations in a clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, vacuuming, taking out trash, cleaning windows, dusting fixtures, replacing light bulbs, clean and stock restrooms, maintain inventory of cleaning products and keep vacuums in working orders and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have 1 year plus of janitorial experience.

Must communicate and work well with others.

Must be reliable and report to work on time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
