American Leadership Academy Applied Technology School is now accepting applications for a part-time Health Services Teacher-Nursing for the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates must possess a valid AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card.

The Health Services Teacher-Nursing will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program that provides students the opportunity to develop and fulfill their career and educational potential.

Job expectations include, but are not limited to:

• Daily classroom instruction as aligned to approved lesson plans.
• Ensure that all school and district policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure a sustainable relationship with parents, school personnel, and members of the public.
• Submit grades and attendance according to the procedures of the school.
• Prepare classroom and lab for instruction.

Health Services Program Teacher requirements are:

• Certificate in The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Industrial and Emerging Technologies Occupational Area
• 3+ years working as a licensed health provider
• Previous experience as a health services instructor preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Patient and understanding

American Leadership Academy Applied Technologies offers a competitive salary that is individually determined based on education and experience. Eligible employees may earn additional pay based on performance.
