Corporate Director of Organizational Development & Training

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus - is immediately hiring a Corporate Director of Organizational Development & Training. This will be a Full-Time position working Monday-Friday from 8am - 4pm.

As the Corporate Director of Organizational Development & Training, you will carry out our Mission of Love by being instrumental in the management, implementation and coordination of comprehensive training programs designed to develop the non-clinical, clinical and leadership staff in their growth within the organization.

Our Corporate Director of Organizational Development & Training is responsible for the following:

  • Developing initiatives that are aligned with the strategic goals of the Masonic Villages.
  • Introducing and executing planned changes to promote positive growth, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Assisting and working with the Director of Quality in Health Care Services at Elizabethtown on performance improvement projects identified Abaqis for all campuses and providing education and coaching to build the needed skills in others to lead PIP's.
  • Coordinating with the Director of Quality and directors/managers on all campuses to ensure QAPI efforts are integrated into all operations and departments, including staff responsibilities.
  • Identifying staff training needs to support QAPI.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), regulations at the state level and at the federal level, and how these regulations apply to quality improvement and training initiatives within Masonic Villages.
  • Fostering teamwork and communication within and between departments to achieve the mission, vision, and values of Masonic Village.
  • Assists with the design, development, and training of the QAPI concepts and serves as one of the primary facilitators and resources while working with the Director of Quality at Elizabethtown campus.
  • Develops, coordinates, and manages the New Employee Orientation and Annual Inservice training programs, including the Self-Study program for both trainings, to be in compliance per the Requirements of Participation/Regulations of DOH and DHHS for the Masonic Village campuses, including the Masonic Village Intranet. Ensures the information is accurate at the time of presentation.
  • Assists with the identification and facilitates the implementation of management and continuous improvement techniques that advance and strengthen the collaborative culture and the overall QAPI process. Integrate QAPI concepts into all operational aspects of Masonic Village. Monitors results of QAPI by measuring and monitoring and employee satisfaction/retention and internal climate.
  • Leads the Organization Development and Training team. Manages and coordinates the yearly training calendar of courses, Certified Nursing Assistant training and orientation, and Licensed Staff Orientation, and trainings requested and required by various department leaders. Develops courses requested by departments, and teaches at all of our Masonic Village Campuses, and Masonic Library and Museum when requested/needed.
  • Oversees the budget for OD&T. Meets with training vendors to explore and promote online learning.
  • Oversees all aspects of the Collegiate Partnership with various colleges across the United States and within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Co- manages and oversees the Performance Appraisal Conference /Talent Management program with the Compensation Specialist and the Human Resources Manager, within the Human Resources Workday Software system to ensure compliance with the goals of Masonic Villages.

What You Have:

  • BA or BS, Master's preferred, with an emphasis on human development, leadership development or organizational development. Emphasis is placed on prior healthcare administration or clinical nursing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Health Care regulations for Skilled Nursing and Personal/Assisted Living care and the training required to maintain compliance and licensure for Masonic Villages, preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to evaluate training needs of the organization. Experience in the design, development, and implementation of training programs.
  • Knowledge of computers with emphasis on Microsoft products and ability to develop programs utilizing a personal computer required.
  • Preferred experience with Learning Management Systems.
  • Previous experience in coordinating organization-wide assessment and improvement is desired.
  • Knowledge of CMS regulations as it pertains to the yearly compliance training required of staff who administer or work with Medicare Parts A-D plans.
  • Knowledge of PA Department of Education requirements as it relates to the CNAT Training Program.
