Well established and growing company is looking for a Coral Care Specialist for its Facility in Lombard, IL.

This position is responsible for day-to-day operations for our Coral Facility.

Hours are Monday-Friday 7am to 3pm, hours may shift depending on department needs, must be flexible may include 1-2 nights a month.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage day to day operations.

· Perform water chemistries.

· Perform maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

· Receive, check and inspect incoming shipments.

· Capture and submit images and upload photos to company site.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Previous Coral and Aquaculture experience a plus

· Willingness to learn about all aspects of the animal care industry, including knowledge of coral care and on-site operations.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Physical Demands:

· Employee is frequently and regularly required to lift and carry 10-20 pounds frequently, and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds. Employee is frequently and regularly required to stoop, kneel or bend.

· The ability to stand for long periods of time is required.

· Employee must be able to move goods that are received, including pushing, pulling, pending, knelling, and twisting.

· In performing duties, employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp; and to reach with hands and arms, at or above shoulder level.

· Ability to work in a wet environment.
