Position Description
Prepares food for patients, retail, and catering functions. Maintains high standards for food handling/cleanliness in the work area. Documents correct HACCP procedures and complies with health department requirements. Prepares for upcoming production with a focus on correct par levels of product. Demonstrates recipe and production sheet compliance to meet nutritional needs. Presents all items with appropriate garnish and correct portion size. Maintains proper handling of all inventories including proper storage, rotation, covering, labeling, and dating.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED. Understand and follow standard practice or oral/written instructions. Able to read and write, use simple arithmetic, and keep simple records.
Preferred Requirements
1 year or more of experience in Food service.
