About us

Our company is looking to hire cooks in multiple restaurant concepts. We are a new food hall opening in Gettysburg, PA. There will be a total of 10 different restaurants within the food hall, as well as a full bar, and event space.

Pay is hourly plus tips.

Cook to order a variety of foods that require only a short preparation time. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation. May help customers with orders and serve guests at counters.

Primary

· Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with our mission.

· Grill, cook, and assemble menu items.

· Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

· Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters.

· Take orders from customers and cook foods, according to customer requirements.

· Restock kitchen supplies, rotate food, and stamp the time and date on food in coolers.

· Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.

· Pre-cook items to prepare them for later use.

· Perform food preparation tasks, such as portioning food, making soups, chopping condiments.

· Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.

· Plan work on orders so that items served together are finished at the same time.

· Complete orders placing food on plates and serving customers at counters.

· Perform general cleaning activities.

· Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.

· Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.

· Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

· Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.

Supplemental

· Accept payments as necessary.

Help managers stock supplies on shelves.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
