St. Elizabeth Healthcare is looking for full time cooks to join our team. Flexible scheduling available, full- or part-time positions currently open.

Our kitchen closes every day at 8p, so no late nights. Also offering a $2.00/hour shift differential on top of the hourly rate for second shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (vegetable preparation, sauce making, meat fabrication…)
• Ensure great presentation of meals
• Maintain sanitation and organized workstations
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor orders for diet restrictions and allergies

Skills

• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.75 per hour
