Job description
This is a MOBILE phlebotomy CONTRACT position. This position will require you to have your own transportation and a W9 form will be submitted. This route consists of Gastonia/Lincolnton area.
The phlebotomist will be assigned 3 nursing facilities for early morning routines beginning as early as 2am and has to be finished and dropped at the Hickory office no later than 8am each morning Monday-Friday and every other Saturday. After the end of each day, the phlebotomist will spin the samples down, complete required paperwork for each facility and then will organize all the samples as trained for the courier to pick up.
Every other weekend is required. The phlebotomist will run routines on Saturdays that will consist of Gastonia, Hickory, Wilkesboro. We offer STATS 24/7. I expect the hired phlebotomist to be able to collect STATS until 5pm each day. However, that schedule can be altered to best fit you. The weekend contains being "on call" Saturday and Sunday.
Being on call requires us to complete a STAT order within 4 hours of being dispatched and dropped at our STAT hospitals.
This is a VERY easy, laid back, flexible job.
