Smith Environmental and Engineering is an Environmental Consulting, Engineering and Construction firm based in Dacono, Colorado. We are looking for an exceptional Erosion Control Foreman to join our construction team! This is a company with room for long-term growth. This position is full time, hourly with benefits. Days and hours of operation are subject to project requirements. Work is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions.

• CDL Class A license is necessary
• Valid drivers license is necessary
• Transports crew to job sites
• Direct crew of 3-5 field laborers
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment and construction techniques
• Ability to complete daily field reports
• Ability to work in safety sensitive construction zone, around large machinery and heavy equipment

· Install, remove, and maintain a variety of erosion control products

· Clear sediment, load and unload materials, clean up shop and yard

· Responsible for completion of daily documentation of landscape and environmental construction work progress

· Ensure crew is installing materials correctly and safely

· Complete any other duties assigned by Superintendent/Project Manager

· Must be able to respond quickly and stay composed in potential hazardous areas/situations

· Must be able to use a variety of hand tools, e.g. shovels, rakes, picks, sledge hammers, etc.

· Must be able to operate a skid steer, farm or tractor equipment

• Good communication skills and an ability to work well with others
• Prior experience in: construction, erosion control, masonry, landscape, hardscapes, water features, low volt lighting, etc
• Must pass background check (we are flexible) and drug screening (including marijuana)
• Must be legally allowed to work in the USA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
