Mitigation Reconstruction in Norwalk, CT is looking to fill the role of construction business head and manager. In this role the successful candidate will manage a $2M+ (and growing) residential and commercial construction business. Our business is extremely competitive and dynamic. We need someone that is highly self-confident, can work independently, will aggressively take initiative, and isn’t afraid to shoulder some risk. This is neither a position nor a company that is suitable for passive individuals.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and maintaining financial statements for the consolidated business as well as individual projects

Tracking performance to budget on both a cash and accrual basis

Managing field personnel to ensure administrative functions are completed on a timely basis

Interface with customers and field personnel to ensure open and effective lines of communication and timely completion of duties

Collecting cash payments and disbursing vendor payments as they become due

Required Skills and Experience

MBA or 5+ years of industry experience preferred

Must possess strong Excel and Word skills

Must have QuickBooks experience

Solid financial statement analysis skills

3+ years of managerial experience

Some knowledge of contract accounting
