BaS&E is an integrated suite of Web-Enabled site planning tools (i.e., modules) used for campaign planning and Course of Action (COA) analysis and selection for potential bed down locations around the world. Captures all aspects of a base/location such as flight-line, housing, transportation to determine which best location can support incoming forces/equipment based on taskings.
LOCATION: Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, Al

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret (Required)
Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD, or BA/BS Degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 8 of which must be in the DoD.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Level III (Senior)
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- IT Configuration Management experience within the Department of Defense environment
- Experience performing HW and SW configuration audits.
- Experience performing the technical administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, media labeling.
- Experience producing release notes and CM reports.
- An in-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation.
- Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments.
- Experience developing briefings for management.
- Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
- Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Tools Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with DoDI 5000.75 and/or 5000.02 for Acquisition
- Working knowledge of the Agile Development Methodology
- Current or ability to obtain Secret clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will provide Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, Program/Project, Requirements Analysis, Risk Management, and Software Engineering support services in accordance with the program's Configuration Management Plan, AF SEAM Configuration Management processes, program development/sustainment contracts, and Capability Delivery Team practices. Must have skills and experience necessary to perform the following tasks:
Ensure a documented and approved Configuration Management plan (CMP) exists.- Serve as member of the Sprint Planning/CCB, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Reviews.
- Maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records.
- Implement CM plans.
- Record Configuration Control Board (CCB) approved changes.
- Prepare and distribute Sprint Planning/Configuration Control Board (CCB) notes.
- Prepare for, conduct, and/or support major audits such as Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) as needed.
- Identify and place all external deliverable software products, designated internal work products, and designated support tools used by project personnel under configuration control.
- Identify and document procedures for accessing the software baseline library.
- Review and/or audit the software baselines in Artifactory and software CM activities prior to software release.
- Prepare preliminary and final software release packages, migrating software from development to project test and independent test, preparing production software for release.
- Review format and/or accept changed/updated documents.
- Establish status accounting procedures using Jira.
- Train project users on using the assigned CM tool (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
- Establish and maintain a baseline library for storing CIs and associated record.
