Confidential Secretary- Culture and Climate Transformation
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Provide administrative support (calendars, clerical, communication, travel and payroll) to Culture and Climate Transformation Administrators
Provide clerical support to CCT and Special Services Team members.
Meeting preparation/scheduling/assistance
Maintain and monitor CCT budgets using district software, spreadsheets and databases
Coordinate CCT staffing data and decisions with appropriate district departments such as Human Resources, Accounting, and Business Services
Prepare short term contracts as needed
Provide the specified administrative support in the following areas:
Bullying and Harassment
Coordinate communication with families regarding outcome of investigations
Maintain database and recordkeeping
Homeless/Foster - Maintain database and recordkeeping
English Language Learners (ELLs) - Coordinate logistics for interpreters and translators in collaboration with CCT director and Family Liaison team.
Special Services- Support a variety of operations within the Special Services Department which could include, but not limited to Medicaid billing, ACHIEVE entry, and organization and record-keeping related to the CRCSD Settlement Agreement with the United States Department of Justice
PREPARATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Documentation of extended learning experiences beyond high school diploma (e.g. CPS; Associate Degree-Community College; BA degree; Completion of program of advanced computer classes).
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Must be able to successfully use, maintain, and manipulate Microsoft Office Professional Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), Grant Wood Area Education Agency Mainframe software (student data and assessment systems and financial accounting system), and the District e-procurement system BuySpeed Online
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
Strong interpersonal relationship skills
Provides active communication and positive relationships with administrators, customers, staff, and community members
Effective oral and written communication
Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions
Ability to problem solve independently and with others
Ability to manipulate accounting software
Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis
Ability to work independently
Aptitude for detail
Capable of representing the school District in a professional manner, which includes but is not limited to confidentiality, communication skills, and ability to present a professional personal image.

Twelve (12) months.
EMPLOYMENT DATE and COMPENSATION:
$21.20 per hour

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc. Ability to effectively write reports and communications to administrators, colleagues, parents, students and staff. Ability to effectively present information orally and respond to questions from administrators, teachers, staff and students.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. Ability to use spreadsheets and reporting documents that assist with the computation of data.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve problems effectively. Ability to interpret and implement a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, colleagues, community members, staff and students. Ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 0 to 12 feet and occasionally up to 20 feet, such as curriculum materials, desks, chairs, and boxes. The employee will sometimes push/pull items such as tables and carts. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus while working with computers, written materials, reports, assessment data, etc.

The noise level in the work environment is moderately quiet. The position requires the commitment of professional working hours that may require the employee to extend beyond a typical 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. workday. The employee will frequently work in different areas of the building including in/at desks, on or near the floor, standing.
