Compliance Technician for HUD/LIHTC Apartment Community
Job description
We are currently looking for a full-time Compliance - Office Technician to assist the Rental Managers at our established Tax-Credit and HUD Project-based-Voucher Affordable Housing Apartment Communities located in the Western Addition of San Francisco.
We are looking for someone to assist with HUD and LIHTC Annual and Income Re-certifications, answer phones, post notices, enter work orders, collect rents, etc.
This position will assist at 2 or 3 different properties based on which property needs the most assistance at the time. The properties included are: Thomas Paine at 1086 Golden Gate Ave, Prince Hall at 1170 McAllister and Laurel Gardens at 1555 Turk Street, all in the Western Addition of San Francisco.

- Communicate with Residents, Applicants, Co-Workers and Vendors
- Office skills - scanning, faxing, answering phones & email
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook email
- Exceptional Customer Service skills

Job Duties & Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Completing Annual Tax Credit & HUD recertification's
- Completing HUD Interim Recertifications
- Calculating & verifying income based on the property subsidy
- Providing exceptional customer service to Residents, Vendors, Applicants, etc.
- Assisting the Rental Manager with daily tasks
- Collecting and processing rental payments
- Entering work orders for necessary repairs
- Collaborating with maintenance staff and vendors
- All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Compensation Includes:
- 40 hours per week total. Schedule is: Monday - Friday 8 am – 5 pm
- Hourly Pay Rate = $23 - $25 per hour (based on experience)
