DESCRIPTION
Compensation and Analytics Professional
- Compensation expense planning/forecasting, coordinating monthly bonus accrual, and preparation of base salary budgets - all with accompanying analytics
- Facilitate the year-end salary and bonus processes
- Preparation of compensation related modelling and analytics to create senior management exhibits and presenting to management teams to make critical business decisions
- Preparation of a wide variety of human capital analytics (including, but not limited to: promotions, hiring, talent, attrition, workforce activity, ad-hoc requests)
- Collaboration with various partners, including Finance, Payroll, Executive Compensation, and Business-specific and firmwide Compensation Teams
- Market Data Coordination and Vendor Relations
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ Years Professional Related Work Experience
- Ability to develop analytics from multiple streams of data, interpret & analyze trends, develop meaningful story/recommendation and communicate the information in a logical concise way
- Must have ability to manage projects in addition to daily responsibilities, ensuring accurate delivery of product to senior management and external stakeholders
- Strong process and project-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, re-prioritize as needed and problem-solve autonomously
- Strong client focus and team player
- Must have superior attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with ability to convey complex ideas clearly & concisely
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to Microsoft Access preferred
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools, developing & using predictive analytics, Python or Business Objects preferred
- Interest in learning new systems and technologies
- Enjoy high-volume, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
- Approaches work with mindset to continuously improve and streamline processes
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 70,000 and 130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
