We are looking for a highly skilled and responsible Commercial Maintenance Technician II with a solid background in “overhead door” service, maintenance and repairs. This individual will work independently to support the facilities maintenance at MolsonCoors in Golden, Colorado. The right candidate can enjoy a steady 40 hours (w/OT options) of Monday thru Friday with a great team. The right candidate will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely service to a variety of facilities related items for multiple buildings within the campus.
The GMT/OHD tech will perform a variety of service and repairs including but not limited to: Overhead door service (inspections, service, PMs, repairs and troubleshooting), dock and lock repairs, man door repairs and replacements, door closers and hardware, controllers, and a wide variety of other building maintenance duties and systems. GMT must have a solid understanding of how to work on the facilities equipment, as well as the surrounding support systems, and a variety of miscellaneous equipment around the complex. Applicant must have strong communication skills and is able to foster strong relationships with customers, vendors and team members. Applicant must be willing to work independently, and in a variety of weather conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures, compliance, and protocols. Ensure that pre-task planning is complete for each and every task.
- Complete Preventative Maintenance checks, inspections, service, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of systems including overhead doors, man doors, dock equipment, general building systems around the complex.
- Installation, replacements, troubleshooting, and repairs on controllers, springs, hinges, closers, hardware, frames, doors, and much more.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation, repairs and maintenance of vehicles, lifts, and other related equipment
- Complete documentation accurately and timely and submit to manager as requested.
- Interact with customers in professional manner; follow-up communication with customer is critical.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, vocational or industry trade school desired (Work experience may be substituted)
- 5+ years of well-rounded commercial and/or industrial overhead door and general maintenance experience required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
