Collections Specialist

Position Summary:

Accu Reference Medical Laboratory is currently seeking a highly motivated, self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced environment to join our collections team.

Our position offers individuals a diverse set of responsibilities, the ability to work collaboratively and individually and the ability to travel to courts throughout New Jersey.

Paralegal experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

· Preparation of legal documents ranging from summons and complaints to writs of execution and motions.

· Filing documents in court and following up on case status.

· Attending arbitration in court and negotiating settlements.

· Work closely with debtors to establish payment plans and out of court settlements.

· Skip tracing and preparation of itemized bills.

· The position will require travel. Therefore, a reliable car and smart phone is necessary.

· College graduate or strong legal background is preferred, well spoken, good writing skills and computer/internet savvy. *** Bi-lingual in Spanish is a must ***

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

• Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
• Paralegal: 1 year (Preferred)
