We are currently hiring for two positions: one for first shift, 7AM-3:30PM, and one for second shift, 3:30PM-12AM.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Spring Coiler Setup/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment and can perform various machine functions, including coiling springs and forming wire.

Essential Job Functions:

• Set up equipment using coiling specs and/or setup instructions to meet Customer's physical specs.
• Utilize measurement equipment to inspect and record measurements at required frequencies.
• Create and update multiform programs.
• Build tools in computer and design all tooling needed to complete jobs.
• Make adjustments to equipment as well as operate equipment, as needed, meeting or exceeding efficiency standards.
• Read blueprints, spec sheets, and make or shape tooling.

Skills and Abilities:

• Read blueprints, spec sheets, and make or shape tooling.
• Multitask, including setup and operation of multiple machines.
• Demonstrate understanding of the machine and tools, including their uses.
• Repair and perform maintenance when needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED; degree from certified technical school preferred
• 5-10 years of coiling experience
• Experience with Mechanical Torin, Wafios, AIM, Orimec, or Itaya equipment preferred, but any CNC spring equipment will be considered.
• Previous experience with basic inspection equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Move/Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs
