This is a Part Time position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Under the general direction of the charge nurse, provide direct patient care in the Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation department by assisting and/or providing for residents in the essential activities of daily living.
• Communicate with charge nurse(s), and other staff about residents’ condition including responding quickly and accurately to requests for assistance from residents and changes in instructions form charge nurse.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of Nurse Aide training and competency evaluation program (NATCEP).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Six months experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Current Texas CNA certification and current CPR certification required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Medium (lifting 50 lbs max, frequently lifting / carrying up to 25 lbs)
