Position: Clinical Program Supervisor (LCSW or LCPC)

Pay: $32 - 35 per hour

Major Duties:

· Oversee the counseling and case management program operations

· Oversee a team of counseling and case management (CM) staff and work in conjunction with other clinical supervisors

· Hire and expand the teams, providing training and oversight to all staff;

· Ensure the timely flow of counseling and case management activities to meet agency goals and objectives;

· Oversee the integration of trauma-informed approaches in service provision;

· Help counselors assess incoming and ongoing clients to generate diagnoses, to write case management eligibility letters (as needed), and to formulate treatment plans;

· Participate in weekly supervision to conditionally licensed counselors and team-wide monthly group supervision;

· Participate in weekly CM group supervisions and provide 1 hour of individual supervision to CM staff

· Supervise client chart-keeping activities in accordance with confidentiality and other State regulations;

· Authorize: clinical documentation as needed per licensure requirements of counseling staff and CM staff, including releasing clinical notes on a weekly basis;

· Authorize: time sheets, ordering of supplies, vacation requests and related administrative needs to maintain the smooth operation of the team;

· Ensure staff are meeting CEU requirements and that clinical licenses and MHRT-C certifications have active standing;

· Provide culturally competent services in accordance with Gateway policies and practices;

· Ensure all staff on your caseload achieves expected performance milestones in accordance with the State requirements and expectations of funding sources;

· Utilize agency data to inform program operations and to make, devise, and implement corrective action plans as needed;

· Supervise staff and support the alignment of individual staff performance targets towards overall program goals and objectives;

· Coordinate participant discharges to other services.

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling;

· Professional Maine clinical licensure as LCSW or LCPC;

· At least three years of experience providing services to adults or children with mental illness;

· At least 1 year supervisory experience in the counseling and/or case management field.

· Experience preferred in working with community mental health settings that provide services to refugees, immigrants or other minority groups.
