Client Service Assistant

Successful Financial Advisory Practice is seeking a goal-oriented, self-motivated Client Service Assistant with strong communication and organizational skills. This individual will be responsible for the support of the
Financial Adviser. This is a part-time position.

Position summary
The Client Service Assistant will be responsible for scheduling appointments with clients and prospects, managing client service requests, handling new business processing, and supporting marketing efforts. The candidate should demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail and possess strong computer skills.

Key duties & responsibilities

  • Use Outlook, Calendly and SalesForce CRM to schedule and coordinate client meetings
  • Maintain CRM software/database, keeping it current for sorting, searching, and reporting purposes
  • Prepare adviser for client appointments, including putting together client paperwork, reports, and illustrations
  • Track open cases to completion and follow up as needed with underwriting department and/or clients
  • Liaise with service center on service issues; handle customer correspondence via phone, email, etc.
  • Track client service issues and follow up on a timely basis to resolve
  • Handle client correspondence (i.e. birthday cards, holiday cards, mass e-mails, other periodic mailings)

Required Skills/qualifications

  • Associate’s degree and/or one to three years minimum of relevant work experience
  • Positive attitude, high degree of professionalism, and willingness to learn and grow
  • Superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to respond to a quick-paced environment
  • Excellent PC skills (highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook)
  • Experience with, or willingness to be trained in, SalesForce CRM
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal/external resources
  • Dedicated commitment to providing superior customer service with a focus on quality
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on assigned tasks

Preferred

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Have Life & Health Insurance License in TX, or willing to acquire Life & Health licenses promptly

Competitive salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is with an independent agent of New York Life and not the New York Life Insurance Company.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
