We are currently recruiting for an Client Onboarding Project Manager on a remote basis or in Stamford, CT (hybrid schedule) to oversee, manage and drive through the successful installation and onboarding of new business. This position requires experience with Pension Plans, Retirement Benefits, Annuity, and knowledge of pensions, pension regulations, pension plan de-risking, annuities, group annuity contracts and life insurance products. Must have excellent project management and executive presentation skills. Responsibilities include project management, onboarding, Data Security, Document and Information Management and Cross-Organization Coordination. 90K – 110K Base + Bonus 15%+ target + Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Onboarding process (with representatives from clients, intermediaries and internal stakeholders) with all planning, administrative, meetings, data analysis and communications tasks in support of the installation of new cases
  • Define, assign and track Onboarding tasks as appropriate (such as Onboarding Associates, Retirement Services Supervisors / Analysts, Client representatives and Intermediaries)
  • Lead the planning of internal and client-facing meetings, including the completion of a new case Intake form, preparation of all meeting materials (Attendee / Contact lists, Agendas, Meeting invites and Timelines)
  • Actively identify and help rectify issues through to resolution
  • Identify and escalate risks to ensure that mitigating controls can be put into place
  • Deliver a world-class customer experience to each client and their annuitants; ensuring that the installation process runs smoothly and is executed on time
  • Establish client folders in SharePoint and draw from templates to be used for new wins
  • Work with clients and their delegate(s) to obtain all necessary annuitant data, validate the data and then work with IT to ensure that the data is prepared to be accurately uploaded
  • Identify and cleanse critical data discrepancies so that the financial impact may be determined and, when required, communicated to the client
  • Facilitate the creation of a benefit specifications document with Retirement Services based on proposal files, such as form of pension payments, information about deferred annuitants etc…
  • Adhere with all policies related to secure data management, especially related to securing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data
  • Facilitate coordination with Corporate Services to develop Welcome Kits and Annuity Certificates to be printed and mailed to annuitants
  • Facilitate coordination with the Legal department to draft and execute Group Annuity Contracts (GACs)
  • Facilitate the True-Up with the Pricing team to provide pricing reconciliation with the client (via seriatim files)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point. Smartsheet a plus)
  • Project management experienceand customer service/admin related experience
  • Pension Plan, Retirement Benefits, Annuity or Financial expertise
  • Knowledge of Group Annuity contracts
  • Knowledge and understanding of pensions, pension regulations, pension plan de-risking, annuities and life insurance products
  • Prior experience managing project and working with teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with executive-level individuals, both internal and external
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willing and able to travel 25% of the time when COVID restrictions are fully lifted

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
