Article 7.06 (D) (1) NEW LANGUAGE CHANGE: All applicants must meet the Skills Measurement requirements. Job-specific testing may be given by Schools or Departments.
All applicants for level three positions must also have a Bookkeeping Test on file and in the applicant packet to be screened by the prospective supervisor.
This is not a pass/fail process but is a measurement of current skills for the applicant.
APS Applicant Processing will send a separate email with testing information upon review of your application.
May include: assists with updates on Computer Database, distributes reports, correspondence and other documents, handles internal and external telecommunications by receiving and relaying calls and answering routine inquiries, maintains and updates files and records, cumulative records and student attendance records, tabulates and posts data, assists Other Office Personnel, receives and relays visitors to the office as appropriate, handles routine paperwork by sorting, routing, gathering signatures and follows through on various dispositions, maintains supplies and materials for office and receives deliveries, assists in maintaining annual equipment inventory.
Preferences include: two to three years of clerical experience, word processing skills, working knowledge of Student Information System, effective communication skills, both verbal and written, flexibility, organization, and problem solving skills, interpersonal skills with diverse population’s in-person and on the telephone, computer, business English and basic mathematics skills, ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects and ability to accurately keyboard 35 WPM minimum.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
