Kilwins Chocolates, Fudge, and Ice Cream franchise has been open and thriving/growing the last 5 years in Downtown Alpharetta. We provide an amazing atmosphere that our customers will want to visit again and again. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Candy production associate to join our team. Training is provided for inspired candidates. Duties will include working in our storefront kitchen where you will handcraft our amazing chocolate products. You will create hand-crafted products following approved recipes and methods using artisan tools and techniques. The candidate must be comfortable greeting and interacting with customers. Position pays $20-26 an hour dependent on schedule and previous experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Personally represents Kilwins Core Values, Core Purpose, Core Operating Standards and Brand Promise;
• Provide integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values and purpose of Kilwins Brand;
• Makes product following Kilwin’s approved recipes, monitors supplies
• Follows proper sanitation / health department regulations for food handling
• Quality control
• Greets and interacts with customers
• Answers customer questions and makes sales suggestions
• Gives samples of designated items
• Properly stores products
• Restocks product displays
• General cleaning of production area; dust, sweep, mop, and wash windows, empty garbage

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

• Assists drivers when deliveries are made
• Puts away, rotate stock. Helps update prices
• Cleans/polishes manufacturing and production equipment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY

• Ability to work well with others, listens well and follows direction
• Must be customer service oriented, with good personality and manners
• Must read and speak English and have good communication skills
• A flair for product design and artistry following the latest trends and customer demands preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous production/cooking, sales experience helpful, but not necessary
• Ability to follow directions/instructions during training period

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in retail store environment
