We are searching on behalf of our partner for an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO). They are a fast-growing multi-site clinical practice and training center that provides leading-edge treatment to clients and training to professionals in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) interventions.

Fairfield and Westchester County, Manhattan and beyond.
Mental health professionals provide the necessary structure and tools to assist individuals with issues ranging from life stresses to the full range of mild-to-severe psychological disorders using evidence-based treatment approaches. They treat adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families and address the full range of challenges they would like to overcome.
The practice includes seasoned therapists providing individual and group therapy, a thriving training and consultation service for school districts nationwide, a comprehensive trainee program for externships, internships, and post-doctoral fellowships, Continuing Education for mental health professionals, as well as a research department.
Chief Operating Officer - Summary:
This is a newly created executive position to enable the organization to reach the next level of client and financial success. The founders will empower this position to drive revenue growth and deliver on the overall practice goals while collaborating on the long-term vision.
Chief Operating Officer - Responsibilities:
- Lead operations to accelerate growth by identifying ways to increase revenue, service, and profitability in line with the values of the organization.
- Develop annual plans that will deliver on the revenue, profit, and service goals of the organization.
- Lead the administrative teams to develop meaningful data-driven insights to guide financial, technical, and operational decisions and adjustments to plan.
- Manage the practice on a day-to-day basis, including operations, accounting, staffing, program implementation and review, marketing, technology and data, human resources, clinical services etc., to ensure delivery of the highest quality therapy, training, and research while increasing system efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure continuous professional development for the team of talented, seasoned professionals.
- Reinforce and evolve our unique, positive, and compassionate culture.
- Collaborate with the Founders on new programs and evolution of the organization as it continues to grow.
Chief Operating Officer - Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in business required (MBA a plus)
- Minimum of 3-5 plus years of experience leading a mid-sized to large multi-practitioner clinical practice/agency/organization (mental health practice experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously grow revenues, service quality, and profit
- Proficiency in using data and technology to increase practice efficiency and effectiveness
- Familiarity with financial reporting and the ability to leverage financial and operational teams to gather new insights that help improve the practice; demonstrated ability to develop and lead utilizing KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
- Familiarity with research in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectial Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other trends in Psychology are a plus
- Experience managing quality metrics for a clinical practice and training center
- Proficiency in managing a diverse team of clinicians and other talented, seasoned professionals
