Payoneer is seeking a Senior Director to join the Chief of Staff for Risk & Compliance. The team reports to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of the company and works closely with the leadership team to lead the organization's strategic priorities. These include driving high priority projects on behalf of the CCO, functioning as a liaison between the CCO and internal and external stakeholders (including the office of the CEO and other executives), and setting the strategic vision for Risk & Compliance in alignment with the broader Payoneer strategy. The role will be a balance between supporting the CCO's internal and external communications, as well as analytics and optimization to help improve the organization's capabilities. The team provides exceptional developmental opportunities for high potential candidates who have a consulting mindset and can execute effectively.
What's the job?
- Lead the tech domain of Operations, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. Plan, facilitate, and prepare materials for internal and external meetings and communications for the CCO – including periodic business reviews, and communications with regulators and other stakeholders
- Run Compliance leadership meetings
- Collaborate with senior leaders and their teams to drive high-value analyses and presentations
- Analyze and identify opportunities for innovation across the organization, including the effectiveness of internal processes to ensure best-in-class analytics
- Contribute to or lead other high-priority Risk & Compliance activities as determined by the Chief of Staff and the CCO
- Take on a leadership role across multiple disciplines by serving as the central point of coordination and control in a project to ensure cross-business collaboration
- Support the research, collection, and assessment of data/information to develop hypotheses that support basic business initiatives/issues. Use analyses to develop recommendations/solutions that can be implemented and measured. This may include supporting the implementation of recommended actions.
- Oversee deliverables related to post-meeting action items to ensure all follow-up items are addressed appropriately.
- Manage the compliance leadership team to OKRs/KPIs and KRIs
Requirements for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- 7 – 10 years of related experience preferred; experience in the Payments or financial services industry preferred, preferably with broad experience across control functions
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized and efficient approach
- A self-starter and highly motivated personality, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to manage aggressive and competing priorities to achieve successful execution
- Capacity to synthesize complex information to derive and communicate actionable insights
- Superb writing skills – and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate concepts and create well-structured messages
- Capability to work as a team player and be hands-on to deliver effectively and efficiently
- Comfortable working in amorphous environments and defining implementation actions
- Excellent judgement and the utmost integrity and objectivity, with demonstrated commitment to upholding high standards
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both senior leaders and across all levels of the organization
- Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, while consensus-building, negotiating, and executing enterprise-wide risk programs
- Solid track record of leading and working with teams to implement cross-functional initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
The annual base salary range for this position is: $150,000-$250,000
