Overview

Hospitalist, Carolinas Physicians Network, Inc. d/b/a Atrium Health Medical Group, 500 Launchwood Drive Laurinburg, NC 28352. Provide individualized, high-quality internal medicine services focused exclusively on adults. Devote physician’s time, attention, knowledge and skills to patient care by performing History & Physicals, subsequent daily rounds, discharges, consultations and other patient visits as required. Accept patient assignments, on-call duties, committee assignments and administrative duties from time to time as determined by the practice. Use physician’s best efforts to provide high quality patient care and maintain a high level of patient satisfaction. Provide clinical direction and supervision to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Meet with practice leadership regularly to discuss practice culture and express any concerns or needs for practice improvement. Secure and maintain medical staff privileges and maintain credentialing in accordance with the AH Credentialing and Quality Review Plan (MHR) and participate in any federal or state of NC healthcare programs. Supervise 2 employees (Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant). Salary: $306,322/year. Requires a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited school of Medicine or foreign equivalent and unrestricted license to practice medicine in state of North Carolina (Medical Board License); and DEA license. Must be board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family medicine or Hospital Medicine. Requires completion of Residency in Internal or Family Medicine.
