Position Description:
The primary function of this position is to provide assistance with activities of daily living to Hospice House patients in need of such assistance, under the Plan of Care and direction of a Registered Nurse. To provide comfort and enforce when needed the plan of care to patients and family.
Position Requirements:
Education:
High School or GED required
Vocational / Technical Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program required
Experience:
1 - 3 Years required
Hospice experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills:
Required:
Analytical, Medical Terminology, Verbal Communication
Preferred:
Ability to Multi Task and Prioritize
License, Registration and/or Certification:
Healthcare Provider CPR – (American Heart Association or American Red Cross ONLY) required within 7 days from date of hire
Kansas Certified Nurse Aide required upon hire
