We seek Certified Medical Assistants for the Berkeley County Detention Center to join a diverse team that brings knowledge and skills from a variety of backgrounds. Our healthcare professionals have autonomy when caring for patients and use strong assessment skills to quickly identify risk factors and provide quality patient care.

What You'll Do:

CMAs support and assist with patient care for the residents in the facility.

• Dispense medications.
• Observe patients for drug reactions and reports all problems.
• Monitor patients vital signs, calculate medication dosages, and stock medication cart.
• Record what medications and dosages were given for the day.
• Perform routine procedures under established protocols including phlebotomy and electrocardiograms.
