Job Summary
The Central Service Technician I is responsible for maintaining the Central Service and Warehouse inventory, replenishing medical supplies, distributing clinical equipment and generating patient charges.
Pay Range
Minimum $19.16 Midpoint $25.39 Maximum $31.61
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
Required: None required.
Preferred: One (1) year of hospital and or related supply changing work experience.
Education
Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience.
Training
Required: None required.
Specialized Skills
Required: Good computer skills, with ability to learn multiple software systems. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards; care with sensitivity and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations.
Preferred: Knowledge of hospital supplies and inventory management. Knowledge of Lawson inventory software and PYXIS automated supply station software.
