Catering and Event Sales Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and dynamic Catering and Event Sales Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Operations.

Our Catering and Event Sales Manager will have a_ fantastic opportunity to impact the organization’s success and will be a key member of our Event Sales Management team_, and will manage the following vital functions for us:
· Cultivating and securing events for our four impressive properties
· Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with colleagues, guests, clients, and vendors.
- Schedule and conduct client tours and post-tour follow-up.
- Tours of the venues will be conducted during the week and every Saturday & Sunday.
- Negotiating client contracts within the parameters set forth by Saphire Events Group
- Securing client contracts with appropriate documentation and payment plans.
- Increase revenue through upselling.
- Prepare weekly tour and booking statistics, and monthly sales reports
- Mentoring junior consultants, event producers, and interns.

Qualifications:
Ø Experience in selling multiple locations and spaces
Ø In-depth knowledge of the event industry
Ø At least two years direct experience
Ø Must be proficient with Microsoft office suite.
