As a cashier/cook, you will be joining an extended family of a new dynamic fast-food chain that is taking the country by storm! We are looking for hospitable and detail-oriented individuals to ensure the success of the day to day operations of the business.

Mr. Fries Man is a family-owned restaurant part of a revolutionary underground foodie frenzy that started in Los Angeles. In 2016, Craig Batiste, co-owner along with his wife Dorothy, is one of several urban chefs in LA that have worked their way up from a home kitchen to a restaurant in Gardena, CA. Their strong social media presence captivated their audience, which resulted in a remarkable following. After a few years of operation, they decided to open up to franchising across the country. The College Park, MD location is the first location in the DC Metropolitan area and is also black owned.

All of our employees are cross-trained as cashiers, plate makers, and cooks and thus can be put in any of the positions on a given day. In the cashier role, they will welcome customers as they enter the restaurant, educate new visitors on the menu, and ensure guests' meals are served looking great! The cashier will also manage incoming orders from the various online platforms. In the cook role, the individual will prepare meals according to the recipes provided and guests' specifications. The individual will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is important. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
