Job description

The cashier position at Great Grizzly Fireworks in Grayson, is responsible for maintaining guest service as per company standard, the efficient expedition of all guest transactions as well as ensuring guest satisfaction at the service desk and proper control of all cash and media materials in our store.

Functions include (but are not limited to):

• Managing own check-out area and ensuring station remains clean and efficiently run
• Listening to customer complaints and questions and referring them to the Store or Assistant manager.
• Ensuring station always has suitable amount of cash and change
• Maintaining and gaining product knowledge to adequately answer any questions the customer may have about our products.
• Handling credit card transactions.
• Maintaining a flow of communication to both Store and Assistant manager regarding your station and customers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
• Experience working as cashier or customer service (preferred).
• Firework knowledge (preferred).
• Must be 18 years of age or older. (Required)
• Must have open availability the weeks of June1st-July 5th, 2022. (Required)
• Must be authorized and have proof to work in the United States. (Required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

To keep our cashiers safe, we will provide gloves and masks and maintain the 6ft a part protocol as well as implementing other extra cleaning precautions etc.
