Cannabis Trimmer
Full-Time
40 Hours Per Week
7 AM - 3:30 PM
$18.50 Per Hour
Overview: Cannabis Trimmers are responsible for properly weighing, trimming, manicuring, and inspecting all cannabis flower intended for packaging. Also, provide daily care and focused attention necessary to trim and process clean, potent, and safe cannabis. This position plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the quality of our finished products.
Responsibilities:
· Efficiently trims/manicures cannabis flower from plants in a quick and efficient manager
· Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the workspace while trimming
· Responsible for maintaining a quality product
· Inspects flower for defects
· Operate with integrity and honesty
· Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company.
· Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all staging areas
· Complete side tasks as necessary
· Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all trim weights
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· Must pass a background check
· Must have an open and flexible schedule
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not necessary)
· Previous trimming experience (preferred but not necessary)
· Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds
· Knowledge of cannabis plant anatomy and strains (preferred)
· Must be detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and punctual
· Ability to obtain a permit as a cannabis worker (if applicable) and you must have this before you can start the job as a cannabis trimmer
