Actalent is looking for an independent, detail-oriented drafter to fill the position of CAD Technician in Blair, Nebraska!

Description:

This candidate will be in charge of drawing the plans for telecom cables for civil planning for commercial areas.

This will include but is not limited to the following: sizing of surveying boundaries using GIS address data, laying out feeder routes, distribution routes, and drops to premises, determining fiber allocations, reviewing field staking sheets and determining the best construction method for design, and producing constructible design packages using GIS based software ArcMap.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• The best candidate has 3 years AutoCAD 1 year Civil Mapping Preferred.
• MUST have Recent Autocad experience from school or work.

This position is NOT a remote role. There is an option to move into a hybrid role after the training timeframe.
