C3BM Future Concepts Engineer

Purpose:
Hill Technical Solutions (HTS), a division of Valkyrie Enterprises, is looking for a C3BM Future Concepts Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
Job Description:
- Assist with C3BM future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs.
- Provide systems engineering support to the MDA/BC Future project office (MDA/BCDV).
- Engage in sensor-weapon engineering teams to define coordinated design implementations for integrated system-level capabilities.
- Prepare analysis, schedules, reports, and briefings that address integrating advanced capabilities associated with C3BM-BOA architecture.
- Understand Missile Defense System and implementation of C3BM candidate technologies.
- Assist with MDA/BCD efforts to coordinate the requirements process, report on the utility and feasibility of requirements changes, and assess proposed requirements for technical and programmatic feasibility.
- Assess, identify, and assist in planning for tracking and discrimination algorithm performance and maturity, including incorporating enhanced capabilities into the development process.
- Participate in BCD capability engineering reviews, milestone decision processes and baseline reviews of technology development programs.
- Prepare agendas, briefings, and minutes or synopsis for the various forums.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math and at least 12 years of experience.
- Must understand System of Systems concepts.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment.
- Must be a self-starter and problem solver.
- Must work well within a team environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prefer prior MDA experience.
- Prefer proficiency in DoD Acquisition.
- Prefer a TS/SCI Clearance.
Security Requirements:
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain the clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional Travel; 20% or less.
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
