Opportunity: ENCON Evaporators is a manufacturer of evaporation systems for industrial and commercial wastewater and process applications based in Hooksett, NH. We offer an excellent opportunity for a talented and detail oriented industrial supply chain professional with an impressive track record of consistent and effective industrial equipment vendor interaction and procurement.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Competitively bidding major components, instrumentation, and fabrications based on specifications from Engineering as well as competitively bidding consumables. Rigorously negotiating blanket order agreements including Kanban and inventory arrangements with vendors. Maintaining existing vendor relationships and cultivating new vendor relationships. Generating purchase orders, confirming orders with vendors, follow-up with vendors on incomplete shipments, monitor vendor performance, managing blanket order status. MRP (Material Resource Planning) activities including: sales order processing, cost updating, cost rollups, kitting and completing, assist with end of month closings, BOM (Bill of Material) structure assistance to other departments. Working closely with engineering to optimize parts commonality in designs. Updating procedure documentation.
This position will also be called on periodically to assist with stock room activities including receiving, picking parts, spare parts management, and preparing kits for production.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Extensive work experience with MRP systems along with a habit of continuous improvement is required.
- A proven track record of consistent and effective cultivation of vendor and subcontractor relationships for the purpose of procuring process components, fabrications, and consumables with optimized value.
- A proven track record of collaborating effectively with engineering and production departments to find alternative high value components, fabrications, and consumables.
- An exceptional communicator with the ability to interact effectively with the production, engineering, service, and accounting functions, as well as with the representatives of supplier companies.
- Experience and familiarity with engineered components and systems used in industrial process equipment, such as burners, blowers, heat exchangers, pumps, control valves and temperature/pressure/level/flow sensors is preferred. Familiarity with raw materials such as metal alloy sheet material, metal alloy pipe stock, metal alloy fittings and consumables such as welding wire, welding gases, and electrical components is preferred.
- A demonstrated ability to understand the needs of a manufacturing organization and ability to align sources of supply with our internal processes and methods.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and schematics as well as stockroom, inventory, and bill of materials analytics is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
