BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Technical Operations team. As the Business Systems Analyst will have an excellent proficiency with working to improve business capabilities by facilitating the implementation of process and system improvements. This key role in our Technology Organization will support our company’s growth helping to enhance and refine our industry leading tools and digital platforms.
A successful candidate will also be able to prioritize a multitude of concurrent issues and escalate with a customer obsession mindset and demonstrate a proven ability to operate in pressure situations.

This positions offers $60k-$70k based on experience.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for working with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business and solution requirements to meet business needs. Must be able to work with a diverse stakeholder group, identify areas of contention and create a shared understanding between the internal stakeholders and the solution delivery team while maintaining alignment with Business and IT Strategies.
You’ll also be called upon to contribute to enterprise cross-functional projects and interact with software developers, executives, vendors, and other support teams in support of key business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
In your first 90 days, you’ll
- Learn how Foley’s products and services work and how Foley can have a positive impact on our customers business.
- Understand our technology and the tools that are used.
- Learn other functions/teams at Foley and how they impact our customers.
Within your first 6 months, you’ll
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s).
- Analyzes existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
- Recommends business practices to optimize use of application systems.
- Develops operational procedures for products, services, and systems.
- Develop user documentation for newly created processes and system enhancements.
- Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.
- Builds, maintains, and utilizes partnerships across the enterprise.
- Provides analytical support to maximize product performance by understanding system capabilities, user needs, and user experience.
- Creating detailed Functional Designs for technical counterparts
WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- At least 1-year professional experience in a Business Analyst role performing the listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artifacts is desirable:
- Eliciting and documenting functional requirements and use cases.
- Producing process flows using Flowchart/Process Mapping Tool (Visio or similar)
- Demonstrable technical skills and ability to learn technology.
- Strong organization, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize business issues into technical solutions.
- Self-starter with desire make decisions and contribute ideas to improving the process.
- Perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy while meeting time sensitive deadlines.
- Proficient at multitasking and meeting deadlines; strong organizational and analytical skills.
- An ability to think creatively and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills, driving issues to resolution.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details.
- Performs an analysis of the current state of an application or system.
- Elicits and prioritizes user requirements.
- Creates business process flow diagrams Analyzes data elements and data flows.
