Our client is a leading Medical Device company. In order to maintain high standards of customer care and product support in key centres, we have been tasked with identifying and recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate for this role, should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals. Ultimately, the Business Development Manager should help the business to grow its customer base and establish a good reputation in the assigned region.

The candidates for this role can be located either in Germany, in Belgium, in the Netherlands, in Luxembourg or in the UK.


Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Key skills and experience required include:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in a similar role in an international oriented environment
  • Successful previous sales experience within the medical devices industry, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Extensive working experience in B2B Sales is required for the position
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach and demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Educated to a degree level in a related discipline
